A maxi skirt featuring three ruffles and a waistband over a pencil skirt closed at the back by an invisible zipper. The skirt ruffles are partially cut on the bias which gives this flowy dancing skirt a lovely drape avoiding the commonly feared puffy effect of ruffles on skirts.
A shortened version with 2 ruffles is also possible, requiring less fabric.
Suggested Fabrics: A lightweight fabric (80 to 200 g/m2), a beautiful viscose rayon, light weight chambray, fine cotton silk, cotton, crêpe, very thin wool, or even tulle and silk . The pattern requires a fabric with a width of 140 cm or more.
Depending on your fabric choice, the ruffles will be have more or less drape.
Last advice: choose a fabric that is easy to press.

3 RUFFLES : 34-40 : 380 cm, 42-46 : 400 cm, 48-52 : 440 cm
2 RUFFLES : 34-40 : 210 cm, 42-46 : 220 cm, 48-52 cm
You will also need:
- 110 cm of fusible interfacing
- an invisible zip of 22cm
